When Cleansing Your Body, Be Realistic

It’s easy to say you’re going to cleanse your body and go on a health kick. It’s easy to say you’re going to cut out all the unhealthy things in your life and replace them with healthier alternatives. It’s easy to say you’re going to change your life for the better.

But, in reality, it’s harder to actually do these things. In fact, it’s much harder. And because it’s so hard to do these things in reality, you have to be realistic when doing them or attempting to do them. It is fortunate, then, that below there is advice on how to realistically cleanse your body. Make sure to read on to find it.

It’s okay to ease yourself in

The first, and biggest, hurdle to face when cleansing your body is the fact that it comes as such a shock to the system. And because this initial hurdle is such a big shock (bigger for some than it is for others), it is no surprise that many fall at it.

However, there are ways to get past this very shocking hurdle; the best way to do so is so ease yourself past it and into your new healthy lifestyle. Yes, there is no shame in taking your time to get used to your new lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with taking your time to acclimatise to your new way of life. And there it is certainly not a waste of time to treat your body cleansing as a marathon rather than a sprint. If anybody tells you otherwise, simply ignore them. But you’ll have to do much more than ignore any naysayers if you truly want to ease into a healthy lifestyle; you’ll have to actually do it. And when it comes to actually taking the time to ease yourself into a new and healthy lifestyle, first of all you’ll have to identify what it is that is coming as such a shock to you.

If you are a smoker, and it is the cutting down on cigarettes that is shocking your system, then try cutting down on your daily intake gradually. This could mean taking part in the Stoptober initiative with others who are seeking to stop smoking over the coming month. It could mean doing it yourself and having one less cigarette every day until you are comfortable with having none a day — no matter how long it takes. Or it could mean ditching the cigarettes completely, buying an e-cigarette, purchasing the e-liquid flavour of your choice from vapeshop.co.uk and switching to the far less risky but just as satisfying (for nicotine cravings) alternative that is vaping. Whatever you want to do to cut down on your smoking habits, just remember that easing yourself into it is the best way to circumvent the hurdle of it being a big shock to the system.

Similarly, if it is the drinking of alcohol that you want to cut down on then easing yourself into it and cutting down with it gradually is the best course of action to take. And this is not just to help with getting over the initial shock of it doing it either; no, this is to combat demoralisation too. Specifically, this is to stop you from feeling as if you have failed when things do not go to plan and you have a relapse. By setting yourself smaller, far more realistic targets you make it far harder for you to feel as if you are failing and lose morale as a result.

When people enter into a change in their lifestyle so quickly and with all guns a blazing they open themselves up to being subjected to a shock to their system that they cannot deal with. And, ultimately, this shock is enough to see them give up on their healthy endeavour before they have even really gotten going with it. But, if you take heed of the advice above and ease yourself in rather than rush yourself in, the next time you choose to go healthy you’ll find it a lot easier to get over that initial hurdle.

It’s okay to cut corners (legally, healthily and safely)

Cleansing your body is such a tough, long and demanding task to undertake; if the fact that this is the case is stopping you from doing it, then why not make it easier? What’s stopping you from cutting a few corners and making the whole ordeal a far quicker and easier one? As long as what you do is legal, healthy and sage then there’s nothing stopping you.

Specifically, this means taking substances and products that are specifically designed to assist with the cleansing of a body. One such substance is Isagenix: this is created specifically to provide those that take it with all that they need. This means that, if you were to take it, you would not have to bother with getting all the healthy vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are needed to cleanse a body; you could get them all in one go.

Cutting a corner in this sense to get all the things needed to stay atop of your vitamin intake is legal, healthy and safe. What’s more, it is not cheating. There is nothing wrong with doing it, and if it works for you then that is all that matters — no matter what any naysayers may say.

It’s okay not to break the bank

Being healthy and cleansing your body doesn’t have to be expensive. No, you don’t have to buy fancy substances. You don’t have to spend loads on the gym or gym equipment. Instead, you can be as frugal and as tight with your money as you like, and still see healthy results.

One way to do so is to pinpoint the healthiest drinks (both hot and cold) on sale in your local supermarket. And, more often than not, this is going to be green tea. Yes, whether you like it or not green tea really is one of the best things to drink to cleanse a body, and it is sold everywhere for a not-so-expensive price. The benefits of this type of tea include: the protection of important cells and molecules in the body thanks to the flavonoids it holds, the improvement of brain function, easier weight loss and a lowering of the risk of cancer. What green tea also does is make a super healthy alternative to coffee; it does so because it provides the same amount of angry, just without the negative side effects that the caffeine in coffee brings.

And you don’t have to break the bank when it comes to physically keeping yourself in shape either. There are a plethora of ways to workout at home, and there are even things in your home that you can use as a workout machine. One of the things in your home that you can use to work out on is your bathtub; you can use it to do push ups or planks on in order to partake in some strength training. However, when using your bath as workout machine, make sure that it isn’t wet at the time. If it is, then you could find yourself slipping over and subsequently being rushed to A&E! Being healthy and cleansing your body is a difficult task, there are no two ways about. But there is no need to make it even more difficult by listening to others and doing what they tell you to do. It’s your life. It’s your quest to take control of your health. Do it in your own way, in your own time.
