There Is No Excuse For Not Improving Your Health

I feel a sense of wonder and excitement about the future. With spring breathing new life into the garden, I came to realise that its time for a health spring clean.

Sure, I could go to the gym and work up a sweat, but instead, Im trying to recall how it felt when I started my healthy living journey. What advice would I have given my past self to make things just a little easier?

You might have an OMG moment with this confession, but even I experience lazy days. I have concluded that if you let me, I can be the voice of reason that gives you a little push.

Crawl, Walk, Run

There is no point preaching about the reasons why healthy living is a must. The evidence is available. Stress factors increase the way you feel thus impact on mental agility. A foggy mind finds it hard to grasp and apply even the simplest of notions. The health journey has no destination because it is, in fact, a lifestyle.

With no rush or pressure, you can start your crawl phase. Just decide what you would like to change. Swapping your fried potatoes for boiled ones appear simple. It is, in fact, a huge change.

If you are from the school of no breakfast’, time to hop on the bandwagon and power your body for the day. Beautiful hair, skin, nails don’t appear. It takes nurture.

After a month of small changes, you can congratulate yourself. You are now a member of the ‘walk’ club. Consistency in change is vital, because as you see transformations, you likely persevere. Patience is key because the ‘run’ phase requires you to push more boundaries.

With the food checklist done, you are now ready to incorporate exercise into your regime. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Each day is a chance for you to be great to your body so that it can provide you with the inspiration you desire.

Scientific Aid

It is true that mother nature has already provided most of the answers. It seems that even this source of nutrition does not always have all the answers. Technological advancements are not posters for admiration. These are tools which aim to assist in making things simpler. There is no shame in taking up the offer of extra aid, especially if results can be faster.

The world we live in is about speed. Things have to be instant. Otherwise, we lose patience. The reality is, change is not going to follow your rules. Life will throw hurdles that you will need to overcome.

Application of the scientific aid you have means dedication. Commitment translates to patience. The end is a continuum of results achieved through these methods. The right tool for the right job. Tools such as the Theradome, face steamer, or even shiatsu massage need consideration. You need to know if they are beneficial to your personal circumstances.

Understand what your body needs, so you provide it with the best tools possible. Investment in yourself should not focus on financial gains. It should also encompass the healthy lifestyle that energises you for the day.

You are the captain of your life ship, steering through the trials of life makes the journey enjoyable.
