Paul Costelloe SS17 At LFW.

Paul Costello’es SS17 collection, aptly titled The Rejuvenation of Linen, was an ode to the versatility and grace of linen. Seeking to bring the fabric back into the mainstream he worked with linen mills back in his native Ireland as well as England.

Sharply structured jackets, skirts and dresses were softened just enough by the creamy linen while still maintaining Paul’s iconic tailoring. Metallic printed cotton and brocade fashioned into OTT pleats added a dash of colour and liveliness to another confident collection while the elegant backdrop of the Le Meridian in Piccadilly rounded up the whole affair nicely.
