My Magical Scotland Trip
My Magical Scotland Trip
My Magical Scotland Trip – So in the run up-to Christmas I have been completely non stop and haven’t made the time for myself that inevitably happens living in the rat race. So when I was invited to a mentoring session with one of my favourite ladies, Christine Mcgory founder of Unlock The Key I jumped at the chance.
I was met at the airport by the lovely Graham, who is the owner of West of Scotland Chauffeur Drive and I was driven around in a gorgeous Range Rover. One of the most professional and helpful chauffeurs I have met. Definitely more brands should try and think of Old Skool customer service like these guys do. So the gorgeous Victoria and Laura from Fake Bake kindly organised an incredible day of pampering at 132 West Regent Street salon for me. I don’t tend to allow myself enough pamper time as I feel guilty, if I’m not working then I think I should be with my kids. But actually it should be the other way round, a calm happy women is a powerful, focused, calm and happy mother. Making more ME time is key to a happy home and a successful career for me in 2018.
So my first stop was the salon. What can I say, a unique concept basically a collective of the best self employed therapists in Glasgow. Such an incredible idea. I started with a tummy tightening and butt lift treatment with Sharon Cameron. Wow I promise even after one session I saw immediate results. Then onto Justina at Esthinity for an intense facial tightening and Dermalux light therapy. I felt soo relaxed but better still my skin was just incredible post treatment. From there I had an aromatherapy massage with the lovely Laromatherapy. It can be hard to find a therapist that really senses your tension and works the right muscles that are stressed. She also massaged my neck tension away which I haven’t experienced before and was incredible.
Then for a quick Fake Bake spray tan with Justina again. I tried the flawless tan that evolves over 8 hours and woke up glowing and feeling gorg. I finished the day with a hair treatment and blowdry with the lovely Pam. I’m quite fussy with my blow dries and was over the moon to leave with a lovely soft wavy blowdry.
Graham then wisked me to my hotel, Gleddoch Spa and Golf hotel. I was greeted by the super sweet Angela, we had a little hotel tour and I have to say this hotels interior is so contemporary yet cosy, love Love Love. Dinner in the hotel was lush and soo reasonable. All the staff made me feel so welcome and Lee and I had a lovely chat. Then a perfect night sleep and the most tranquil views for brekkie in bed.. I cannot wait to go back and stay in the room with a Jacuzzi.
Then it was on to a magical day with Christine and the Unlock the Key group! So where to begin with such wonderful people. Well as I’ve said before since meeting Christine I have changed the way I think and view life. I will be forever grateful to the gorgeous Vic and Lauren from Fake bake for introducing Christine into my life. Christine and her beautiful daughter Megan are unlock the key teachers and complete inspirations. A philosophy, a way of life, a power mindset that maintains giving back! Which I just love Love Love. Everyone attending the mentoring session where all beautiful talented souls with different talents and passions. To be part of a collective mindset like this is a beautiful thing.
Sometimes at home I can get so caught up in Day to Day trivia that I loose site of my visions, my talents and my creative energy. Attending this session with likeminded people reminded me how to fuel my focus, energies and attention for spiritual growth and success. Meditation is key! I love this group and Unlock the Key, I left energised, motivated and excited for my plans in 2018.
Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou
Love Naomi xx
