Juicy Bitch Detox

Juicy Bitch Detox

After having my second child 8 weeks ago during my pregnancy I put on 4 stone. Luckily the first 3 stone came off fairly easily in the first 5/6 weeks then the real battle began. I have been stuck at the same weight for the last 3-4 weeks a stone heavier than normal and obviously I don’t want to put myself under pressure but still won’t feel like myself until I’m a bit closer to my old weight. I have just started exercising now as I had a c-section and have to wait a good 6-8 weeks. We are going on holiday in 4 weeks time and feel I’m going to need quite a bit of help to loose the last 14lbs. A friend of my in Broxbourne has a juicing company that has become so incredibly popular that I thought this has got to be the best way to kick start my detox and had heard amazing things from other friends that have used Juicy Bitch Detox. So I opted to try the 3 day detox.

Juicy Bitch are a juicing company that specialises in 3 to 7 day detoxes. The detoxes have many benefits including weightloss, pure detox and can help improve skin, hair and nails. If you choose to detox for 3 days this is on average what your fruit and veg intake will consist of:

24 Apples
10 Oranges
3 Pineapples
2 Carrotts
3 Avocados
2 Lemons
4 Limes
2 Cucumbers
1/2 Courgette
4 sticks of celery
Inch slice of raw beetroot
3 big chunks of raw ginger
3 handfuls of mixed berries
3 handful of spinach
2 handfuls of watercress
3 handfuls of kale
4 tables-spoons of low fat natural yoghurt
3 teaspoons of wheatgrass
4 teaspoons of spirulina
6 teaspoons of acidophilus bacteria powder
1 teaspoons of udo’s choice oil
1 tablespoon of mixed seeds
Chopped mint

The juicies can be tailor made for you so if you have allergies they can easily change your detox plan to accommodate this. Juicy bitch was setup by the lovely Faye. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago and thankfully is now in remission. She researched healthier ways to eat and live her life, then came across juicing. Juicing has now become a big part of her life and the health benefits it brings, She says she now feels amazing!!

So personally as I’m breastfeeding I had 4 juices a day and a soup along with a super healthy dinner. I thouht it was going to be horrendous to cut everything out my diet like sugar and bread but it was so easy because the juices and soup taste amazing. In the first day I lost 2 pounds which I could’nt believe as I’ve been stuck at the same weight for weeks. During the next two days I didn’t loose anymore but then since I finished the detox I’ve lost anothe 2-3 pounds in a week. I think the detox kickstarted my system, I’m feeling amazing, slimmer and sleeping better. Thanks so much Faye this was an amazing experience.
