Jayne Pierson SS18 LFW Show

Jayne Pierson’s first stand alone show was the perfect kick off to a season of incredible LFW show. Entitled ‘….And God Created Women’ the collection tells the story of a contemporary time traveller woman who has learnt to survive by any means and rather than being held down by her past uses it to empower her future;

“..and God Created Woman SS18 integrates hand-painted leathers, denim and cottons with fitted silk satins, suede nubuck jumpsuits and pleated leather. Jayne exclusively introduces her diffusion range called JPL which is a mix of sport and leisurewear. Luxurious silk lycra and innovative technical fabrics mix with silk tulle, contrasting the structured architectural silhouettes. Colours are pale sand, baby blues, cobalt contrasting with tangerine, turquoise, ice white, and a pop of metallics.

Pushing forward with the brands ethos of being an art driven fashion house Jayne also collaborated for the first time with Fashion Artefact designer Qi Zhang and again with long-term friend, contemporary artist, Neale Howells.
