It’s time for London Fashion Week 2013
It’s that time again London Fashion Week 2013 is about to rock the nations with five days of fashion fabulousness exclusive to fashion editors, bloggers and the like. Where the up and coming designers will showcase their designs and we see established designers new seasons looks. For the non-exclusive VIP fashion set there’s also Vodafone London fashion weekend. London Fashion Week will take place from Friday 15th – Tuesday 19th February and is practically open all hours from 10am – 7pm daily held as always at the divine Somerset House, Strand, London. Followed by Vodafone London Fashion Weekend again held at Somerset House from Thursday 21st February to Sunday 24th February 2013. Fashion Weekend times vary so check the website to find out opening times.
Contemporary designer Zoe Jordan, will open London Fashion Week’s schedule and exhibit her AW13 collection on the first floor alongside new British brand to watch, Trager Delaney. A new tailoring room will feature womenswear lines including designers Studio Nicholson, Peridot London with debut collections from E.Tautz women and Mr Start women. Quite a hefty list of new exhibitors and up and coming talent for AW13 season include: Aurora Ozma, Bottletop, Dr Martens, Electronic Sheep, Emma Yeo, Fleet Ilya, Golden Lane, Liam Fahy, Maarten Van Der Horst, Matchstick, Moody and Farrell, Mr Start Women, Studio Nicholson, Trager Delaney. London Fashion Week is meticulously organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC) and plays host to 120+ designers, showcasing over 60 new designers for AW13. Follow the British Fashion Council’s news on twitter @bfc . The British Fashion Council (BFC) is a non-profit trade group for British fashion designers founded in 1983. Based in London and currently chaired by Harold Tillman, who took over from friend Sir Stuart Rose, its main goal is to promote British fashion design across the world. Its joint Chief Executive is Caroline Rush.

The main activities of the British Fashion Council are:
• Organizing London Fashion Week
• Managing the annual British Fashion Awards
• Managing the Colleges Council which aims at developing fashion higher education in the United Kingdom and its relationship with the British fashion industry.
The Exhibition is only accessible to UK and international media and buyers but closed to the general public. That’s where London Fashion Weekend gives non-industry fashionista’s a taste of the fashion buzz at its best.
