These particular environments tend to be very dry, and there is the fact you are constantly washing and disinfecting your hands. Dry skin can be uncomfortable, itchy, and even result in cracking skin that can bleed.

So how can you combat this unrelenting dryness and help your skin to stay hydrated, soft, and healthy? Here are some tips you can use.

Hot water actually strips the oil and moisture out of your skin, leaving it extremely dry and even flaky. Warm water will work for your shower, bath, and when you wash your face.

Exfoliate on a Regular Basis

Another tip is to make sure you are exfoliating your face and body on a regular basis. Exfoliating gets rid of the dead cells on your skin, which are dry, itchy, and flaky. It will help to reveal the softer fresher skin underneath.
