There’s a new season of Made in Chelsea and we are obsessed in these style savy stars. So what makes the fashionable and gorgeous Chelsea crowd look so stylish apart from their designer labels. They make everything they wear look effortlessly cool and manage to get the glam and grunge balance just right. With spring summer upon us, there are so many looks out there; magazines overload us with colour trends, styles, and fabrics, accessories where do you start?
A lot of people feel safer in autumn winter styles as black is always staple but spring summer is a completely different story. It brings with it colours galore and micro trends, if you feel slightly body conscious it can harder to know what suits you with so much choice. Not only is there a new fashion season but Made in Chelsea came back to our screens a few weeks ago and the ladies are looking as stylish as ever.
The main three characters Binky, Louise and Lucy may all be Chelsea girls but they are all very individual in their own style choices. I teamed up with Foster Grant sunglasses to bring you a spring summer style video campaign called ‘How to get the made in Chelsea look”. All the clothes they used were from the high street and as the MIC girls happily admit, they love to mix designer with some of their favourite high street stores.
In terms of hair and makeup the Chelsea girls like flawless, fresh looking skin which is very on trend this season and wear their hair naturally. Less is more with their makeup style or they fake it with a dewy foundation. They love a feline flick on their eyes and a nude lip. For evenings they tend to glam up their look with either a strong lip or smokey eye never both and never overdone.
Their hair is much more natural than other reality shows so avoid super straight or heavily styled hair. Use a nice product like their favourite ‘Bumble and Bumble’ and leave your hair quite natural. Maybe try a side plait for the day. In the evenings they like to wear their hir up or loose large waves.
In the style video Naomi focuses on the shows main three characters Louise, Lucy and Binky.
The Made in Chelsea girls maybe able to afford designer labels but there’s no reason why you can’t look just as polished and pretty with all the fabulous high street alternatives. Here are the pieces used in the video to create their looks.
