H&M joins forces with M.I.A.

“Swedish retailer H&M has partnered with British singer and artist M.I.A. for its new global initiative, World Recycle Week. The brand aims to collect 1000 tonnes of unwanted or worn out garments from customers worldwide between April 18 and April 24, recycling these to create recycled textile fibres for new products. M.I.A. has filmed a new video as part of the project, highlighting the environmental impact of clothes going to landfills around the world.” The Media Eye.
