Fighting The Signs Of Ageing WITHOUT Surgery

Everywhere we look, there seems to be signs telling us how bad it is to age. With so many products on the market that claim to defy the natural process of ageing, it can be difficult to know what to turn to. We all age, and unfortunately that’s just a fact of life. Even more unfortunately for us, women tend to age faster than men in terms of aesthetics. As of the present day, there is no solid proof for why this is – although, some researchers believe it has something to do with high collagen density in women. That being said, we do still live longer than men. So that’s something at least! However, if you are really unhappy with certain ways in which your body is ageing, there are certain treatments you can use to turn back the clock.

Facial wrinkles

When opening your bathroom cupboard, you might be faced with twenty various pots and bottles staring back at you. All these contain various lotions and potions which claim to rid you of those pesky wrinkles and make you look ten years younger. In fact, there is very little proof that any of these products actually work, with the exception of a small few. A 2013 study found that the average British woman would spend £18,000 on makeup and skincare in her lifetime, with much of that money going on anti-ageing products. It might sound radical, but if you want to get rid of wrinkles once and for all, it may be worth considering a more invasive treatment. However, this doesn’t mean to say you need to get surgery. There are actually plenty of treatments available that don’t involve you going under the knife. Slendertone is a great example of this. You may have seen television adverts promoting its tummy firmer, but the amazing thing is that they have actually developed one for the face. The product is designed to build muscle volume in the face, giving you a more youthful look.

Varicose veins

Ask most women and they will say that varicose veins are the bane of their life. These unsightly veins tend to develop during later life. They are formed when the tiny valves inside the veins stop working properly, causing blood to gather and build in the vein. This is what gives varicose veins their swollen effect. Plus, alongside being unsightly, they can be painful too. If you are considering vein treatment to deal with varicose veins, there are thankfully plenty of options available to you. These range from non-invasive treatments using chemical energy to surgery.

Feet

It may seem unusual, but our feet can be dead giveaways when it comes to our age, even if the rest of us looks relatively young. Visiting a chiropodist all the time can be time consuming and costly, but thankfully there are ways you can take care of your feet at home. Using a pumice stone regularly will help rid you of any dead skin. Exfoliating socks are also a revolutionary product that can transform your feet in just one use. Finish with a great pedicure and you’re good to go!
