DAKS SS16 Womenswear Show At London Fashion Week

The sublime and sophisticated DAKS womenswear show at London Fashion Week was inspired by the Art Deco period of the 1920’s and 1930’s. There were beautiful sheer marble print dresses that glided down the catwalk alongside  ladylike tailoring and simple accessories. The 70’s trend is here to stay as high waisted trousers, suede A line coats and jersey sweaters paired with silk skirts made an appearance this season again. Geometric prints cut into soft silhouette maxi dresses will be perfect for next spring, as will the lace up shoes and pleating that both emerged as the big trends to watch out for.

A gorgeous collection that would suit women from all walks of life, we are particularly fond of the way that DAKS has played with different fabrics – matching and mixing them for wonderful results. Enjoy the full collection below!
