Are you bored of your look? Lots of women want a way to change their look sometimes, but they don’t want to commit to much. Having a tattoo or a piercing is all well and good, but it’s a big commitment. Even having your hair cut and coloured could be a big decision! That’s why makeup is such a good option. You can completely change your look with makeup, so you don’t have to make any irrational decisions. These tips will help to give you some ideas:

Try Coloured Contacts

One way to change your look with minimal fuss, is to use coloured contacts. Coloured contacts will change your eye colour, and can even completely change your eye. You can have snake eyes with coloured contacts, if you really want to! However, you need to remember that the eye is a delicate area of the body. You shouldn’t use anything cheap in there, or you could suffer the consequences. Only buy quality contact lenses that you know won’t damage your eyes.

Change the Shape of Your Face

If you want, you can change the shape of your face with makeup too. You can do this with a heavy highlight and contour, but you don’t need to stop there. You can even use prosthetics! This is a great idea for a fancy dress party or a show you might be putting on. A special effects course could teach you exactly how to do it if you’d like to know more.

Try Different Lashes

Different lashes can help you to play up your eyes as much as you like. You can get lashes that really show off your eye shape, or lashes that make a big impact. You can get lashes made out of lace, if you really want them!

Create a Different Eye Shape

Would you rather have a sexy cat eye? Then use eyeliner to create the perfect cat eye flick. Once you’ve done that, apply cat style flicked lashes, and you can flutter away. If you’d rather have big, bambi style eyes, white liner could be the answer. It can give you a wide eyed look, along with a 60s style makeup finish.

Learn Special Techniques

Courses and videos can teach you a ton of special techniques that will allow you to change your look with makeup. In fact, some makeup bloggers and artists focus solely on changing their look with makeup. They use makeup to change the shape and size of their lips, and even to look exactly like a celebrity! Whether you want to do it for a party, event, or just for fun, they can help you.

See? It’s totally possible to change your look with makeup. I wouldn’t recommend trying to do this on a daily basis. Why not just be yourself for regular occasions? Then you can go all out for fancy dress parties, events, and shows. Playing with makeup is so much fun, so try these tips and see for yourself. Anything else to add? Leave a comment!
