Your wedding day should be the most magical day of your life, which is why it’s so important that you ensure that you look and feel fabulous. The fact is if you don’t feel good, you won’t enjoy yourself, so it’s important to take steps to ensure that on your big day, you look incredible and feel wonderfully confident. The question is, what does it take to do that?

Give your smile a beauty boost

Your wedding photos are going to be around for many years to come, so naturally, you want to ensure that you love how you look in them. If you’re not keen on your smile – maybe your teeth aren’t as white as they could be, do something about it. While you could opt to have your teeth whitened professionally, it’s much cheaper to go down the DIY route. Believe it or not, you can pick up dental supplies, such as teeth whitening kits online for affordable prices. So, if money is tight, this could be worth considering. Especially as a dazzling smile will give your confidence the boost, it needs.

Focus on your health

Before their wedding, a lot of brides like to slim down, so that they look as amazing as possible in their wedding photos. While it’s fine to go on a diet if you feel the need to, it’s much better to focus on your health instead of on losing weight. Eat healthily and exercise by all means, but don’t focus on shifting the pounds – if you don’t give yourself enough nutrients, you’ll end up with skin that is dull and hair that’s unhealthy. So it’s important to focus on your health in the lead up to your big day, instead of on your weight loss.

Perfect your hair and makeup

A big part of feeling good on your wedding day is having hair and makeup that you love. So it’s important to make time to perfect your hair and makeup in the lead up to your wedding, to ensure that on the day itself, you love your look. Book your hair stylist and makeup artist in for at least two practices, so that on the day itself you can just sit back and relax. The last thing you want is to be stressing out on your wedding day about your hair and makeup, so it’s important to have plenty of practices beforehand, to make sure that you’ve got both spot on.

Give your skin the love it needs

To ensure that on your wedding day your skin glows, give it lots of love in the weeks leading up to it. We’ve spoken about eating healthily, but what else can you do to give your skin that wonderful glow? Once a week, exfoliate from top to bottom using a salt or coffee scrub, then apply a rich body cream to help nourish your skin and prevent dryness. If you’re going to fake tan before your wedding, so that your skin has a bit of colour to it, make sure to get a spray tan done by a professional, to ensure that you don’t end up looking like you’ve been tangoed.

So there you have it, everything that you need to know to look and feel fabulous on your wedding day.
