Best Dressed At The Met Gala 2015

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Spring Exhibition, more commonly known as the Met Gala, took place a few days ago and we are still fawning over all the incredible fashion that was on display. Apart from the seasonal runway shows the Met Gala is THE biggest night in the fashion calendar.

This year the exhibition was entitled China: Through The Looking Glass. It celebrated and showcased the influence Eastern culture has on had the Western world through many mediums including art, photography, film and of course fashion.

As always a plethora of high profile celebrities walked the carpet in their interpretaion of what Eastern culture is to them. Here is our pick of who was the best dressed at the Met Gala 2015!

rihanna-met-gala-guo-pei
Rihanna is a true fashonista in every sense of word. She knows what the cameras want and always dresses perfectly for the occasion. This beautiful creation is the work of Chinese designer Guo Pei and took two years to make! Worth every minute we say.
zendaya-fausto-puglisi
For only being 18 years old Zendaya has more style and makes bolder choices than that of her older counterparts when it comes to fashion. This divine Fausto Puglisi dress is perfection on her and along with the tiara and other accessories the execution of this look is heavenly. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
fanbingbing
Chinese actress Fan Bingbing always kills it every year at the Met Gala. She went to her close friend and designer Christopher Bu to create this beautiful and elegant outfit which is by far our favourite of hers. The YSL tasselled clutch is a sweet touch. But the crowning glory  is the fantastically detailed cape worthy of royalty, STUNNING!
givenchy-giles
The Knowles sisters are poles part when it comes to fashion but both know how to work that red carpet. Beyonce is gorgeous in Givenchy Haute Couture while Solange is theatrically dramatic in Giles.
For Chinese acrtress Gong Li this event must've been an absolute breeze when it come to choosing a dress. And she certainly made the right choice by going with Roberto Cavalli. We love the use of velvet and even more than that the intricate lace back.

We are loving all the capes that have been on the red carpet this year so far but Emily Blunt's Prada gown is by far one of the best. The two tones of blue and the grace of a cape is just delightful. Lily Collins went for a Chanel couture look as it was won on the runway. The net over her eyes is an edgy touch but we love the skirt which looks like a watercolour painting.

kate-kors-schwartz
Kate Hudson never ever disappoints us when it comes to an event like this. Her figure is stunning and this Michael Kors gold column dress fits her like a second skin. The Lorraine Schwartz headpiece gives that extra oomph of drama and is a beautiful piece of artistry

Did we miss out anyone who you think deserves to be on this list?
