Arrive Hotel Palm Springs

One of my favourite places recently to holiday has to be Palm Springs for its relaxed California vibe. So when we checked in, there was no surprise that the Arrive hotel was such a funky yet tranquil oasis of calm and California cool.

The relaxed Californian culture is really different to any other state I’ve visited. The weather is amazing, food is super healthy and the setting is just awesome.

This gorgeous boutique hotel is in the uptown design district and the layout is so practical, you can park within minutes from your Uber cool room. Which is super handy when you’re a fashion blogger and have loads of cases. Designed by Chris Pardo, a co-founder of ARRIVE, the hotel is open and welcoming to the neighborhood, inviting all to share in its creative energy and sense of community.

As soon as we checked in and headed to our room I fell in love with the whole atmosphere and design of this cool hotel. The pool is surrounded by outdoor fireplaces, palm trees and chill out areas which is great if you want to sit in the shade, chillout and edit your pictures for the insta.

It’s also got an real community vibe. The pool is the focal point and is surrounded by the rooms, the bar and restaurant. Yes the modern south Californian cuisine at Reservoir is just delish and the staff are so typically Californian, friendly & welcoming, I highly recommend the ‘Another Avocado Toast’ with eggs for breakfast, its perfection. The bedrooms are spacious, arty and fabulous. I had the best nights sleep, loads of space and didn’t want to get out of the walk in shower.

We chilled on our terrace with our own personal fireplace and a wine in the evenings. For the design enthusiasts you will adore the natural palette of rusted steel, wood, and concrete which is complimented with splashes of color and richness of pattern.

Attention to detail and digital is everything here. Accompanying the hotel is a coffee shop, Customs Coffee, thank god for a hotel with great coffee which is also used by the community and not just the hotel! And then theres the most instagramable ice cream parlour, Ice Cream and Shop(pe) it just gets better and better right! Coming from a serial coffee drinker, the coffee is spot on at Customs.

While we stayed at ARRIVE we also hung out and ate at Draughtsman a few minutes down the road, listening to live music, drinking the quirkiest cocktails and indulging in their tasty menu under the stars. Whether you are veggie or a meat eater you have to try their Impossible burger its sensation and we couldn’t believe it was vegetarian.

The hotels location is just perfect just minutes from the heart of downtown with all the city’s fab shops, art and restaurants. I cannot recommend this tranquil oasis enough surrounded by beautiful mountains, palm trees and desert it’s the perfect place to just take a step back and fully relax and indulge in the California sunshine.
